Basic Requirements to drive a Houseboat
To drive our houseboats, a standard car licence (C class) is all you need.
Note: You do require a boat licence if you wish to hire our dinghies.
Before you’re allowed to take the houseboat out, we give you a full showout and handover.
This includes a full safety briefing, boat operation instructions, navigation basics and house systems briefing
Before you leave the marina, you will do a practical session with one of our staff.
If we determine you need a little extra support operating the houseboat, we’ll arrange an alternative option to ensure you can still enjoy your time on the river.

To book your ideal getaway, simply call or enquire with the number of guests, your preferred travel dates, and the boat you’d like to hire. Our team will help you arrange the perfect, peaceful, enjoyable, and relaxing holiday you’ve been dreaming of.
To secure your booking, simply reply to our quotation email or contact us by phone to confirm. Once we receive your confirmation, we’ll enter your reservation into our system and provide the deposit/payment details along with a booking confirmation.
A $500 deposit is required to secure your dates.
A refundable security bond is required prior to boarding. This will be returned (less any running costs) provided the vessel is returned on time, clean, and in good condition.

Kiwi Oz / Scoundrel – $800
Primo / Riverstar / Sensational Spirit / Cocktails & Dreams / Meander / Odyssey – $1,000
We will send a pre-arrival email approximately 30 days before your departure date. This email includes helpful tips and tricks to ensure you have the perfect holiday.
